Save the Children, the organization advocating for child welfare, has released its annual report on the status of mothers and children worldwide, complete with a ranking list of nations, regarding whether it is good to be a mother.And the gold goes to...where else? Once again, godless Scandinavia. Out of the 6 top nations, 5 are Nordic/Scandinavian.
The US is number 25 on the list. I suspect the situation among minorities is an important reason for that. A lot of room for improvement.

I suppose a good place to be a mother - but that does not neccesarily imply it is a good place to be a child. these same countries have of the highest teen suicide rates in the world
